Aidan DeCavitte was born at 1lb 6 oz, at only 24 weeks gestation. After 4 months of living in a hospital and enduring multiple surgeries, it was evident that Aidan’s path would be different. His Autism diagnosis definitely changed the landscape of the DeCavitte's lives. Raising a child with autism, who is also visually impaired, can be quite a challenge. However, it is also so very wonderful. Aidan is completely unique and so is the way in which he participates in the world. Along the way Aidan’s parents have been blessed by so many people who have stepped up to advocate, support
and help their son grow and be successful. 

Therefore, we AMRAP to continue to help Aidan and so many others in our community who have a
similar journey. We want to offer back at least some of the support that Aidan and his family has received over the years.

AMRAP 4 Autism builds acceptance and awareness in our community; provides opportunities for more services and connections for kids with autism; and provides hope.
