WHEN CAN I HOST AN EVENT?
ANYTIME! You can schedule your own A4A fundraising WOD whenever it fits into your schedule. Most boxes find Saturday mornings to be ideal for an event like A4A!
WHAT DOES A4A LOOK LIKE?
Most boxes replace their Saturday workout with AMRAP4AUTISM. People sign-up to participate through your own Classy website for the event. Registration to participate in the event is a $49 donation. Participants will select their size at sign-up to receive our signature tri-blend AMRAP4AUTISM shirt or tank as a commemorative thank you. In addition, individual athletes will automatically receive their own page through the site with the option to fundraise and have a larger impact. Some locations make it a big event with DJ, vendors, bounce houses, etc. and market heavy in their community, while many just run the workout on Saturday to raise awareness and funds.
WHAT IS THE WOD?
Over the years, the movements and rep schemes have changed to reflect Autism Statistics, while the time domain has been a constant: 32:00 AMRAP (our founder's son Landon was born at 32 weeks). AMRAP4Autism provides a challenging Partner WOD, scaled options and a kids version. In 2024 our workout reflects 1 in 36 children are impacted by autism according to CDC statistics.

As always, boxes can feel free to make any changes to fit their membership or facility for any of the workout movements
What is in it for the Box?
By providing all the resources, we allow a box owner the opportunity to run a professional fundraising event with little time impact on their part. This will help strengthen the community and potentially attract new athletes, as well as the philanthropic rewards of helping families impacted by autism. In addition, we provide boxes recognition on our social channels, and give a gym equipment gift for 25+ participants. Lastly, we partner proceeds with a local autism entity of the box's choice to have a local impact.
WHAT DOES IT COST THE HOST BOX?
We do not charge for any of our services.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Once you select a date, we will send you an intake questionnaire to set up your website. After that, we will prepare all the specific event materials. We like to start this process around 45 days before the event to make sure we have everything on our end complete and a box can properly market locally.
